I played for Mizzou in the early 70's right after we won our last conference championship in 1969, 50years ago. I've been a season ticket holder since 1977 and have missed 5 games in that time. During that time I sat through 13 straight seasons of below 500 record.We have yet, to when a national championship. We think Arkansas, Nebraska.Tennessee and others are delusional, man look in the mirror, they
have numerous conference and national championships in the last 50 years. We're a team that should go to a bowl 80 percent of the time, yes 6-6 you go to a bowl, every once in a while you'll get a year without key injurys, bad call and a few players that over achieve and you'll win 8,9 or10 games and a chance at a conference or maybe a national championship.This is who we are like it or not.Call me a defeatist, I call myself a realist.
