Pass Coverage and Defensive Line buy-in?

Many years ago (40+), I thought young DB's were taught not to touch a receiver until after the ball arrived lest you would be called for pass interference. Seems we could benefit from a similar approach today.

Has our defensive line bought into our new coaching staff and their approach?
