it seems like in 2013 and 14 we were close to 50 50 pass to run. Last week we ran the ball 75/25, why this game did we go big 12 throw it up 75 percent of the time against probably the most athletic secondary we will play against. I know it is a slower pace game but running the damn ball limits possessions, runs clock and keeps d fresher. Hell even if we are only gaining a yard or two per run play it will it least be a third and 6 where the defense still has to respect the run or pass.
I like the defensive games and it is what we are built for now. I just hope now that we have a pocket passer with Lock we don't try to just throw it all the time, but it seems that is the direction. Our line needs to get more push and we need to start getting bigger backs, still love my tigers and I just hope we can get to 6 wins this year but I am starting to have my doubts.
