OK, a week ago I was about ready to give up on this team. They weren't even showing signs of a pulse. Bring in the doctor and call it already.
We didn't beat UK on Saturday, but we showed the type of performance this team can have when they show up. I don't think a bowl is probable at this time, because we have to win pretty much all of the games on our schedule that are winnable, but here is what it looks like

Not one of the teams on that list is "good". But even if we are 4:1 favorites in all of those matches, we only have a 32% chance of sweeping them and I don't think we are that big of favorites.
Our only real "insurance" is if we beat UF. It's a home game and they aren't great, but they are more talented than us. (The other insurance is a back-door bowl with 5 wins. I would take that if offered, but right now I'm just plotting the course for a legit bowl appearance.
If Barry can continue to improve this team over the next 2 weeks, they might actually pull it off. We have to stay injury free vs. Georgia and not get demoralized by a loss there.
