We were scheduled to play LSU at the worst possible time. Ideally LSU wins the last game and Les Miles was still the coach, but that didn't happen. Orgeron had his team jacked up to play and I knew right away we were in trouble. That was not the same LSU team that was 2-2 on the season. There is no way that team last night loses to Auburn or Wisconsin. It will be interesting to see if he can keep them playing at last night's level. If he can, I think they beat Bama and win out. We will see.
Having said that, we have a long way to go. We need better athletes all around to compete with the best teams in the country. Better OL, DL, LB, DB, WR, and RB. We are getting there but it will take some time. We were never going to walk into Tiger stadium and pull off the upset if LSU brought their "A" game. Folks they didn't bring their "A" game, they brought their "A+" game.
