OF COURSE NOT...we are all different and that is a good thing.

If there are 2,000 guys on Power Mizzou...then there are 2000 sets of varying opinion and thought.

Can you imagine how boring the discussions on Power Mizzou would be if Gabe could some how magically morph us all into "STEPFORD POSTERS?"

(For you younger guys who have never seen the movie...worth a look despite it's 26 rating on Rotten Tomatoes )

Yes...some of us are overly optimistic. I've been told by some of my friends that my Mizzou optimism is more over the top than Tiger John Cleek.

Hell...If I was Custer at the Last Stand or Davey Crockett at the Alamo...I probably would have still "liked our chances."

Some of you guys are on the other end of the spectrum...you always have doom, gloom, and doubt at the fore front of your thoughts.

You are they type that would bitch about how much tax you have to pay if you won the BIG ONE on Powerball...or even complain if should ever win a National Championship...you'd bitch about a play call that cost us another TD or what "outfits" we wore.

I think we all want Mizzou to win...can't imagine anyone paying to be on this site who felt otherwise.

We all have varying opinions on everything...from best places to eat in Como...best places to live or go...KC vs. StL...what girls are HOT and what girls are NOT...and especially ANY and EVERYTHING related to Mizzou Sports.

No one knows for sure how the Barry Odom Era at Mizzou is going to work out...not me (one of his biggest fans if you hadn't heard)...nor any of you who want him fired YESTERDAY...or better yet NEVER HIRED.

I do think we have to let this season...and possibly next from what I am hearing today...just play out. Barry will either win and he'll stay...or he won't and he will eventually be fired.

You might not agree with me...but he's in a really tough spot right now and I see this thing going one of two ways. He either "circles the wagons" and this team rallies around him...or...NOT.

It's really that simple.

Being different is what makes Power Mizzou Great...and hard times make the good times all the more sweet.

Tom Hanks had a great line in "League of their Own" saying, "It's SUPPOSED to be HARD...The HARD is what makes it great."
