I remember when Gary Pinkel was making his statements that he would always have a great QB at Mizzou. I thought it was wishful thinking. Turned out he was right and he always did. A lot of schools that were traditionally better recruiters than Mizzou were not nearly as successful with QBs as he was. What made him so confident in his ability to get QBs?
