Purdue has an elite play caller on offense and a defensive coordinator who watches film. Our OC is approaching Henson bad... And that's hard to do. No misdirection, no jet sweeps, no option, I mean 2 running plays both up the gut, no using the middle of the field, no throws to TE's. Drew hasn't been good but Heupel is hanging him out to dry. Every throw is a NFL ALL PRO caliber throw to get a completion. It's getting ridiculous at this point. No one could succeed in a offense like this. It's even more simplistic than Henson and his offense. I'm not saying this after the fact either.
So I guess we can agree Cross wasn't the problem. BO tried making him a scapegoat and it backfired. Serves him right. Fire your lousy ass brother and your homeboy Safeties coach. Both of those groups are killing us. Every job should be up for grabs other than Frazier and Beckner... On offense and defense.
