I'm sitting here watching some of these press conferences with the players on YouTube, I'm very appreciative that they're made available to us .
But watching some of these guys I'm reminded of their age. Some of these guys have the deer in the headlights look. They're not ready for this kind of attention, this kind of scrutiny, this kind of criticism. Sure, they are big time division 1 SEC players, and the rules say they have to be made available. But I'm just not so sure they're ready to answer questions after a game like this. If I'm their mom or their dad I don't know that I could watch some of these interviews looking these players in the eyes and seeing the emotions that are going through them.
All of that said, we need to remember after a game like this that many of these guys are just kids who are playing for school that we went to as kids. They are not adults. And we shouldn't treat them that way. Even if they are given every opportunity, and financial possibility than a student can have.
