Sorry if this has been discussed but laying out the playoff scenarios make my head spin from a fan perspective. SEC championship game in ATL. Say you win that and then have a bye, go to Fiesta Peach Sugar or Rose bowl. Semis in Orange and Cotton Bowls. Championship back in ATL. I know there are some very large and rapid fan bases out there but is this format sustainable long term? That's low end like $10-15k if you want to travel to all that and have decent seats. Heck that might be low. I think the championship games are on the chopping block, but at the same time that's guaranteed revenue for the conferences. I wonder if we see quarter finals moved to on campus sites as well, I think that makes sense for fans but probably not the networks and sponsors. Just overwhelming to think about.
