1. This is stupid but get rid of dumb ass Timmy Trumpet. All it means is the opponent is about to convert on 3rd or 4th down. We can’t get off the damn field and it’s not the songs fault but it is creating a reoccurring nightmare for me.
2. I said last year Brady was going to get Drink fired I think this game was a prime example. He should have just started Sam Horn last year. Had that happened there would not have been a competition. Everyone would have bought in no matter the record. Luther took the top off the defense three times. Brady massively under three 2 and over threw one. Luther made a great catch on one of the under throws. 49 of his yards came on a play that the defense just forgot to cover the running back. He took sacks missing open receivers. That safety oof. And honestly the one thing I thought he was good at was running it and that was pretty much shit too.
3. If Brady doesn’t get Drink fired he is complete lack of testicles will. Stop ****ing punting the ball on 4th and one from the 50. The science is in, it is one of the dumbest things a football coach can do and he does it constantly.
4. Our DE not getting consistent pressure hurts. Big time. See point one about not getting off the field.
5. Peat was the far better back and we don’t see him in the 4th. No Jones or Roberts either. Cody has his place but he is not ever hoping to out run anyone. With Brady’s complete lack of ability to hit a receiver in stride we need a home run hitter back. Cody is not that. Again fine with him playing and even starting but we need these guys getting touches.
6. It was nice to see Theo get involved. He could be really good. That called back catch at the end was awesome and a bullshit call the defender engaged Luther and held the contact. So the MTSU couscous losing his shit over the next penalty call rang very hollow because A it was PI and two even if it wasn’t you were now even.
7. Luther is really really good. Keep buying those chips. Our offense sucks, it would be disgusting with out him.
8. The defense is going to need to create turnovers to get this team to more than 6 wins. Maybe even to 6 wins.
9 special teams again. I am tough on the Thicker Kicker but that hold looked messed up. Also stop running the ball out from the endzone on kick offs.
