We'll be talking to Dennis Gates, Kobe Brown and Noah Carter
-Gates begins by thanking the crowd, saying they've shown up every game and made it a point to support this group. He said they knew this would be a tough game because of the energy Ole Miss had been playing with since Kermit Davis got let go. He said Win Case did a good job of preparing against them. He thought his guys gave their best, which is all he asked for. He's looking forward to whatever their future holds.
-Gates was asked what it was like to hug the seniors goodbye, especially the one he's known for a while. He said he hugs them every day.
-All three are asked about winning close games. Carter said it's something that they noticed early on and just rolled with it. Kobe said it comes from having an experienced team like they do. Gates said it takes preparation and close situations is something they've practiced before. He said they make the players coach themselves, where the coaches aren't allowed to say anything.
-Carter and Brown said the Senior Day ceremony was surreal, they really appreciated the support they got. Kobe was asked about the crowd cheering "one more year." He said he hasn't thought about it and will make that decision after the season.
-Gates said Aidan did a great job. He said Carter and Brown have done a good job of not going easy on him and holding him accountable. He thought Shaw got in a groove by getting active on the boards, something he's struggled with this year. Gates wants to see him keep growing.
-Gates said he wasn't aware they got the double bye until he went on the radio after the game. He said they're happy to have it but that their goal was to win the SEC championship.
-Carter said they won't change their approach heading into the postseason. They want to go into it with the same mindset.
