Horn suffered a setback early on in baseball practices on his right arm per multiple sources. Missouri is seeking another opinion later this week to determine what steps to take going forward. There's a wide gulf of what could happen. He could shut it down in baseball and still go through spring football and be okay with some rest. The worst case is Tommy John surgery and he's out for 12-14 months. I NEED TO STRESS THAT NEITHER DETERMINATION HAS BEEN MADE YET.

I would be surprised to see Horn pitch for Missouri this spring. Beyond that, it's to be determined. Hope to have an update for you by early next week as far as anything beyond that. If it's determined he's out for a prolonged period of time, Missouri has to hit the spring portal window for a backup quarterback.
