We’ve had a lot of questions over the last few months about NIL efforts and the collective at Mizzou. We’re happy to be able to share with you guys some information not only about Every True Tiger Foundation (Mizzou’s preferred NIL collective) in general, but specifically the exclusive setup we’ve been working on for PowerMizzou subscribers.

Over the last few weeks I’ve had a chance to talk to ETTF’s CEO Nick Garner and to Executive Director Laurence Bowers multiple times. Nick and Laurence both understand the passionate fans that are here and that PowerMizzou is a key demographic for them to tap into. So we’ve been working on ways that the two organizations can work together to benefit you guys and to help out ETTF and Mizzou at the same time.

ETTF has set up a special “mini collective” specifically for PowerMizzou. Think of this as a collective within the collective. Contributions will still go to Mizzou athletes and will still be used in the same way as any general contribution to ETTF as a whole. But if our subscribers go specifically through the PowerMizzou page on ETTF’s site, you’re going to get exclusive benefits not available to everyone that donates. This link is not publicly visible. It is only available to our subscribers.

If you click on this link it will take you directly to the PowerMizzou page through ETTF. You can make your pledge directly on this page. You can donate as little as $25 per month, which is tax deductible under the new 501c3 setup for the collective. Larger donations are certainly welcomed and encouraged. You can also choose a one-time donation rather than a monthly pledge, so you can be a part of this for as little as $25. By channeling all of our subscribers through this specific link, ETTF will be able to track contributions from PowerMizzou subscribers. And as the contributions grow, there will be special exclusive benefits to those who contribute.

We have set a goal of $100,000 in pledges by August 1. That sounds daunting at first. It isn’t. If everyone on this site contributes $25, we hit that goal. Not $25 a month. $25 TOTAL. In other words, if the most die-hard Missouri fans on the planet each donate $25 today, we would hit that goal on day one. When (I’m saying when, not if) the PowerMizzou contributions hit that $100,000 mark, those who contribute will be invited to an exclusive invitation only event with ETTF athletes and hopefully Mizzou coaches as well. This event will be in the fall on a football weekend. You will get a chance to hang out with your fellow subscribers and contributors, Mizzou athletes who are benefitting from your contributions, and ETTF and Mizzou athletic personnel. We will set a specific date and agenda for this event as we get close to the goal of $100,000.

The second goal is set at $250,000. When that goal is hit, we’ll do a similar event in the spring. Because the first event is around a football weekend, those players and coaches will be in season so the first event is more likely to be a basketball and other sports event. But when we hit the second benchmark, we’ll host an event that will include football players and staff. Again, to be a part of this, all you have to do is contribute through the PowerMizzou page at ETTF. To get to $250,000, we need every member of this site to contribute just $50. That’s a little more than $4 month. It’s literally less than half what you pay to be a member of this site. Skip one cup at Starbucks every month this year, contribute to ETTF and you’ll get two exclusive Mizzou meet and greets.

Our final goal (at least for now) is set at $500,000. That is $100 from every subscriber. Again, not $100 a month, just $100 over the course of the next year. At that goal, ETTF will hold a lottery to allow 50 contributors special access to a full Mizzou practice. That is in addition to the two invitation only Mizzou meet and greets.

The benefits to you all don’t stop there. We have also worked out a deal with ETTF through which I will conduct a weekly podcast with Mizzou athletes. The athletes will come from a variety of sports, but each week I will do a show with a different ETTF athlete from Mizzou. These will be video chats where we talk a little bit about their sport, but also a lot about their lives away from the field or court. Every week, I will post those chats exclusively on our message board, giving our subscribers the first access to the chat. We will then unlock the chats and release them as podcasts 24 hours later. Our first conversation will come next week with incoming quarterback transfer Jake Garcia. This is going to be a chance for you guys to hear from Mizzou athletes that absolutely nobody else is going to talk to. You’ll get to hear their stories and get insight into their careers and their lives. I’m working with Laurence Bowers and Bud Sasser on a weekly schedule for these podcasts throughout the year.

This is your chance to be a part of not only making Mizzou better, but helping out PowerMizzou as well. Many of you have been here for years or even decades. We all recognize that you’re the biggest Mizzou fans, literally, in the world. Because of that we want to make sure we’re making it as easy as possible for you to make a difference. This community absolutely has the ability to make a major difference in NIL and to reap some rewards from doing so. Starting right now, click here to make your contribution. We understand not everyone can give. We understand not everyone will want to. We understand some can only give a little. No donation is too small and all will contribute to the goals we’ve set for PowerMizzou. So let’s get going and see how quickly we can start hitting those goals to prove that the subscribers here can absolutely make a difference and to start letting you guys see some of the benefits of your contributions.
