Football is a game of statistics, where guys like Brothers, Brady and Harris are cleaning up right now. I think you could make a case for Big Bear being our best defensive player right now. No, he does not stuff the stat sheet but he stuffs the run. He is giving his teammates a chance to feast right now. Yesterday the D was tough but we left some meat on the table. We whiffed on several tackles behind the line of scrimmage. Big bear did his part to collapse the pocket.
Next week against Florida we need Augusta to take the run away from the Gators. To make them one dimensional. I think IF we win he will be one of the most instrumental players. We cannot allow Grier to get comfortable in the pocket and must force that center and guard right back into his comfort zone.
