Obviously kids much, much less. 0-19 at 0.0003%; 20-29 at 0.003%; 30-39 at 0.011%; 40-49 at 0.035%; 50-59 at 0.13%. and 0.5% at 60-69.
Presuming no major revisions forthcoming after peer review, we masked kids through college for a risk of 3 in 1 million. Their risk of drowning and dying in an MVA is more than 3x that of dying of Covid. Flu about the same. Mindful that even Fauci has stated masks “may” have helped to mitigate transmission by only 10%.
We mandated a shut down of our country of working age adults to mitigate risk for 1 in 1000. Ignoring any attempt to run a comprehensive cost-benefit analyses(or if they did they did not promulgate widely)on not merely the dollar cost but it’s impact on the mental health of 365 million, it’s collateral trailing physical health on those same people, along with other serious related unintended consequences. All this not even calculating its cost to Liberty and national unity.

A new study on Covid-19’s infection fatality rate (IFR) by age from a team led by Dr. John Ioannidis, the world’s most-cited physician, estimates that Covid’s IFR in the pre-vaccine era was under 0.1% for those under 70—even lower than previously believed.
