He called KAD a cool cat and said he plays hard and plays well. He thinks him being a cool cat is part of why he has been successful as an outside corner compared to a slot corner.
Baker thinks he's long, fast and has really good balance. His timing of jump balls are good. He said 50-50 balls are 100% his. "He's what you want in a corner."
He said South Carolina TE Austin Stogner is a complete TE. He said he can be a possession tight end but also be a vertical threat. He can run block and run routes and Baker said they are going have to be aware of where he is at.
DE Josh Landry has a broke hand but will return in a week. He said that Marquis Gracial and Daniel Robledo will come in his place. The bye week has been key for those two.
Baker said that Spencer Rattler is getting comfortable in the offense and has a good stretch of games. He's impressed with the wide receiving core and doesn't think the offense has a weakness.

He said the defensive line played real well against Vandy and that the Abilene Christian week was a coming-to-Jesus moment. He said some of the lack of TFLs and sacks on the season has been because of offenses getting the ball out quickly or running the ball effectively at times.
He said DE DJ Coleman is probably the toughest guy on the team and if he was to get in a fight in a back alley that is the guy he would pick first to help him.
He credits Darius Robinson and Chad Bailey with that fourth down stop vs Vandy on the Commodores' final offensive possession.

He said that his weight has shifted a lot because he sweats a lot. He said that he goes from 260-270 all the time. He said when he's lighter that he feels quicker.
He said the coaches building trust in him helped him get the strip sacks. He said coming from an FCS school you gotta earn the coaches trust.
When asked about Baker saying he would fight alongside him in an ally because he's the toughest on the team... Coleman replied, "he ain't lying."
He said that coach Peoples has taught him about pass rush angles and a lot with the run. But he felt confident with the pass rush coming in for the most part.

He said that on that fourth down situation that the it was just the defensive line knowing the situation is how they made that play.
He said the defense is having more fun and that it's more fun with the freedom on the field. He said freedom on the field means that he can actually read the offensive linemen. Basically making counter moves for everything.
He said the defense can probably get some more points on the defense like when Joe Charleston scored a pick-six in week one.
He said it's not hard to believe that the defense got better. He said they've been trying to put the team together last year and this year too. He said the defense is trying to take it one play at a time.
