NCAA's transfer waiver working group is exploring a proposal to allow all student-athletes to be immediately eligible after their first transfer as long as they:
  • Receive a transfer release from their previous school.
  • Leave their previous school academically eligible.
  • Maintain their academic progress at the new school.
  • Leave under no disciplinary suspension
Goal is to have it in place by 2020-21, so next year.
