Just a couple of takeaways from last night's game. Make no mistake about it, these 2 schools have by far the most Division 1 talent in the next couple of years. LN has at least 5 kids who has power 5 ability. This lineman name Buford is an absolutely monster. Big, strong and aggressive as he'll. He may end up being the top player in the state next year. We know about Perkins, whom I was very impressed with last night, he made a bunch of plays in the backfield. Their rb Azubuike is a beast coming out the backfield, very physical downhill runner similar to Roundtree. A couple of 6'3 275ish underclassmen in Clayton Lyles and Talon Dotson.

Trinity skill positions are ridiculous. LN literally kicked the ball out of bounds on every punt or kickoff return because of the Titans return game. They eventually had to kick it to them and guess what happened 85 yards later, td. Cooper, Frenchie, Washington and Williams are all sure fire BCS level players, and that's just the skill positions. Their line is huge, probably averaging around 6'3 and 290-300 one, which is insane. Trinity is loaded throughout their whole roster and they're young. If they can get a real qb, it would almost be unfair to every high school in the state regardless of class. They have a top 100 receiver playing qb and it hurt them last night. He threw 2 interceptions I side LN 10 yard line and another that was returned for a td.
Again, arguably the most exciting game I've ever witnessed with that much talent on both teams. Both teams are set up to continue to dominate class 2A and eventually knock off that juggernaut called Lamar. You guys do yourself a favor and watch the replay, very entertaining game.
