don’t get me wrong; I love our band. I hung out with Marching Mizzou band members in the mid-70’s and they were a great group (and know how to throw great parties). My wife and I always stick around at halftime to watch the performance. We were really impressed with Purdue’s band. They played great, fun songs with a lot of movement and energy. Sometimes the selected songs at Faurot Field are “less than fun or energetic”. Also, Purdue had a wonderful performance out on the field AFTER the game. Couldn’t help but draw comparisons.
