What things did Mizzou work on and improve between the S. Carolina game and Purdue?
I ask, because from my amateur view, I saw all of the same mistakes and just more of them.At least against S. Carolina you could tell someone woke up the defense and got them to the game on time for kickoff. Over the past couple years I have complained that we don't see consistency out of our team. One unit has a decent game, but it's undone by a bad performance on the other side of the ball. Last week we achieved consistency. Our defense had the stopping power of wet toilet paper. Our offense was offensive and our punt returner once again returned a possession to the kicking team. Aside from one individual performer in Fatony, there just wasn't anything to point to and say, "I'd like to see more of that."
