How much more would you like this guy to do? I’m not going to apologize for him because he made some awful throws and bad interceptions when you can’t but let’s look as the last two games-Yesterday MU is cruising and he throws a ball my 5 yr old could catch and it’s dropped. In comes field goal unit and momentum switch. Monsoon occurs and MU is playing awful. DL hits Albert O, yes not a perfect throw but one a NFL caliber player should catch, and he drops on end zone. Penalty after penalty after penalty. 1st down and 67 yards to go. The guy can’t catch for his receivers and can’t recover from those penalties. Still played bad but come on folks.
Go back to Georgia. Driving down field and Albert O coughs it up(regardless of refs). Momentum killer. Hits another receiver in face and interception. The kid has some big mistakes, but my point is how much do you want this kid to have to overcome? He puts them in position lots of times and gets let down often by the folks around him. Yes he played bad, but he can’t play the other positions too. Back off hate train just a little and maybe give him a little credit. Game yesterday looks a lot different if not for the Johnson drop.
