1. Trickery doesn’t work.
One of the few blemishes of the game for the Tigers is they motioned out half of their offensive line to the left sideline then the ball was snapped with Luther Burden running in front of Brady Cook in the shotgun. Cook hikes the ball and doesn’t pop pass it which would’ve resulted in an incomplete pass. He tried to hand it off and Burden fumbled. Murray State recovered, however, it only held on to the ball for one minute and 55 seconds before punting.
2. First punt.
It took 19 minutes and 10 seconds of game time for Mizzou to punt. I thought Luke Bauer was getting the day off.

Around the two-minute warning in the first half, tight end Brett Norfleet went into the injury tent laboring at one of his shoulders. After he came out of the tent he was moving both arms and wasn’t hunched over like when he went to the injury tent.
