1. That's not ideal.

Blake Craig starts the second half by kicking the ball out of bounds on the kickoff. Of course, it doesn't matter because even the Racers did nothing with it.

2. Penalties

Around the 12-minute mark of the second quarter and the offensive line has three of the four accepted penalties. Left guard Cayden Green has two of them. Mizzou has six total penalties.

3. Blake Craig and red zone success.

Blake Craig made his first field goal attempt from 39 yards out. The team's first red zone drive ended in a field goal. Remember, that was one of the main focuses of camp. More touchdowns and fewer field goals.

Missouri is 4-of-4 in the red zone with three touchdowns as of 8:50 left in the third quarter.

3. Second-team offense in.

After Chris McClellan forced a strip sack (recovered by Joe Moore) at Murray State's 10-yard line the starting offense was subbed out with 7:38 left in the third quarter.

Backups who played: Drew Pyne, Daniel Blood, Jamal Roberts. Jayven Richardson, Tristan Wilson, Mitchell Walters, Logan Reichert, Mekhi Miller, Drake Heismeyer, Mookie Cooper, Tyler Stephens

Jamal Roberts scored his first career touchdown from two yards out.

MUR 0, MIZ 45

TE Jude James and RB Tavorus Jones also saw some third-quarter action.

End of 3: MUR 0, MIZ 45
