1. Cody Schrader put the team on his back.

Think about it. Brady Cook has looked like an All-SEC quarterback for much of the season. Luther Burden has looked All-World, and the best player in the last three games for the Tigers has been Cody Schrader.

He's now has three straight 100-yard rushing games with the last two coming against two top 15 run defenses.

Schrader ended Saturday's game with 35 carries for 205 yards and a touchdown. He also added five receptions for 116 yards.

He is the first player with 90 receiving yards and 90 rushing yards in a game and he did that in the first half. He's also the first player with 100 receiving yards and 100 rushing yards in a game.

Schrader is also the first player since Devin West in 1998 (333) with over 300 scrimmage yards (not all-purpose) in a game with 321.

I mean anything Mizzou has needed, it has been able to go to him. He's been great.

2. Brady Cook played well after early interception.

After his interception on his second passing attempt, he went on to complete 17 of his next 22 passes. I know the turnovers have reared their ugly head but he played really well. It helps that the defense got a quick three-and-out after to kind of make the quick turnover null and void (kind of).

He finished the game having completed 18-of-24 passes for 204 yards, a touchdown and an interception.

3. Missouri treated a top-25 defense like it was nothing.

The Tigers put up over 500 total yards and 36 points on Tennessee's 21st-ranked defense (13th-ranked run defense).

Missouri was 11-of-17 on third downs and 4-of-4 in the red zone with two touchdowns. It also dominated time of possession by over 20 minutes.

4. The defense played lights out.

Missouri's defense has six points after safety Daylan Carnell's interception returned for a touchdown. Tennessee had seven.

Vols entered the game with the third-best rushing attack in the FBS at 227 yards per game and had 23 rushes for 83 yards.

Tennessee as a team finished with 350 total yards and was 5-of-13 on third downs.
