I was reviewing stats from 2015. The best D that WV faced was against Oklahoma, and they were ranked #38. After that, the rest of the defenses were ranked very lowly.
However, it is disconcerting that ALL of the Big 12 defenses were ranked so low. The offenses were all in the top 10.
My point is this: I really don't think the WV offense was as unstoppable as advertised. Yes, they racked up a lot of points against Arizona St in their bowl game, but their defense was ranked really low as well.
A question: we know the WV defense lost a lot, so the assumption is that they will likely be a step down from last year. Is there offense expected to be better or worse than last year?
