Listen I'm not saying there should be no concerns but I saw mental errors more than anything especially with the corners and Safeties. Cale Garrett played a pretty good game at LB and for this game was the better MLB. Terez Hall was disappointing as well as Prewett... We've got to get better production from those 2 guys... Way too many missed tackles and assignments. Not staying in gaps. Rashad Brandon was our best Defensive player and it wasn't close. I noticed the 1st few series dline lined up a yard off the ball. 2 series later... That bs from last year was over. Finally a quick adjustment... Progress.
I know it was rough to watch at times but I think the majority of these mental errors get ironed out. Other than tackling issues most mistakes were mental.... Not knowing which person to check.. Etc. Rashad Brandon has to start. Jordan Harold... Bless his heart should be 3rd string and im being generous. Doesn't have those quick twitch explosion. I look for us to be 3-0 going into Auburn.
