Realistic Wish List for Mizzou Basketball Coach?

I think we are all in agreement that the loss to Eastern Illinois on Saturday sealed the deal for whether or not we will have Kim Anderson as a coach next year. With that being said, I think it is time that we start thinking of what exactly we are looking for in our next basketball coach. We know these things about our program (In the eyes of a coach evaluating the job):

Our talent is mediocre, at best. No dominant post players. No consistent scorers (Only "benefit" is that our roster is young)
The SEC is an average basketball conference - I would rank it behind the ACC, Big 12, Big 10, and Pac 12 in strength and luster.
We, to this point, have completely whiffed on signing in-state talent
Even with good products - Mizzou attendance has never been a positive factor for the team

With those in mind, who out there is a realistic coach to have on our wish list? If we had to come together and list qualities, I think we are to the point now where we want someone with a proven track record and who is a good recruiter, no exceptions. No more guessing games or taking chances on coaches.

So two questions here really:

Who are coaches out there that are realistic to place on our wish list?
How much are we willing to pay to right the ship?
1. We are to the point where we have to hire a big time coach to fix the mess we have now. That will require paying a substantial amount of money compared to our track record. With the $100 million upgrade to the football stadium, and $16 million softball stadium, it is my firm belief that it is time to reach into the pockets and pay a top coach Top-10 salary money ($3+ Million).

We have dug a dark, deep hole. Are we ready to show that we have a desire to be a nationally competitive team by hiring a nationally competitive coach?
