Very proud to win that game. I thought a lot of guys stepped up and played well. Personally, I think we have talent on the offensive end that will tough to stop in the future, but they are too young at the moment and make a lot of dumb mistakes. I commend the coaches for getting a 2-7 team up to win a game a against a pretty good Vandy team that is defensively stout and better than their record.
With that said the coaching staff really has a lot to improve upon. I think the defense with work itself out under BO, but he still made some poor time management and personal mistakes.
JH and the offense I am less optimistic about. I think in most games we need to slow it down to run the plays more effectively, but leading by two scores we needed to run the ball with out best player, and not only did we not run but we didn't even have Crockett on he field.
I understand why Ish plays he is a pretty decent back and a very good pass protector, especially compared to Crockett at the moment, but throughout the game JH seems to try and over complicate things. We get close and try and run with our defensive tackle or Ish. That is just not smart. I hope he can turn it around, but week after week we do the same stupid things, and seems less and less likely to me.
