Reason to expect DE/Secondary improvement in 2018?

Is there any reason (aside from these guys being more experienced) to expect any improvement in the secondary or at defensive end? I have to think we'd be looking at JUCO guys at those spots.

Hopefully Petry and some other guys can develop quickly.
