Working on a story for tomorrow to kind of wrap-up spring football, but I looked at the top passer from each of the previous 11 spring games (including this year's).
Drew Lock had the second-highest spring game passer rating out of the bunch. He completed 9-of-13 passes for 134 yards and two touchdowns for a 206.58 efficiency rating. The highest spring game passer rating in that span was... you guessed it, Chase Daniel in 2006. He went 11-for-12 for 120 yards and two touchdowns, a rating of 230.67.
Obviously, spring games don't mean much, but thought that was interesting. No other leading passer came close to either of those two ratings in that span.
