I appreciate every recruit that signs with the Tigers. Every player at this level has options. I know this staff is far more competent than I or any pontificator on PM as to who is “the best available” . Not the 4*/5* we think they should fill the roster with..but the best players/good human beings they can assemble and fit into a winning football team.

Having said that, I don’t know whether it’s the early signing addition, it’s been a busy fall for me, early season failure, or lack of a high level recruit we are in on..but this is about the most lack of interest I can recall on a signing day.
I suspect that is because we don’t have a Lock, or TBJ or a DGB or a Gabbert or Sheldon that comes down to the wire with subscribers, refreshing threads and waiting with bated breath for crappy feeds from high school gyms wait w it’s crossed fingers.
Many of us have come to understand that some of the most heralded fall by the wayside..never seeing meaningful pt and some you viewed as “who’s that?”..be starters.
At any rate, I saw a lot of young players out there this year doing well. I have confidence many of these kids will do the same.
I know for certain this group will be dwarfed in the talkin season by classes like Ga is assembling. I’m looking forward to seeing how this class and the one behind and in front of it works out 3 years down the road on the field.
Outside of the supposed “huge gets” that don’t always pan out ..Deimien, DGB etc. it is hard to focus on one over the other as to who will greatly over perform and be the player that has the entire stadium on its feet. I look forward to them showing us. Today is the most anti climatic signing day I recall.
