Very interesting article on Dan Kelly on Post Dispatch. I found that I have been wrong for many years in thinking he was the father of current Tiger announcer Mike Kelly. I don’t know where I got that. Maybe I just took it for granted. Dan definitely had a golden voice. Radio broadcasts used to be so enjoyable. With everything on tv I don’t listen to radio much unless I’m in the car.
