I’m a democrat. I’m not for abolishing the 2nd amendment, assault rifle bans, whatever. For me it’s the same reason I’m pro-choice. It’s not in the best interest of public health and safety to make them illegal. On a broad scale you’re never going to be able stop it. You’re only creating a “black market” that leads to the degradation of society. Especially for those in low economic situations.
