I don't really post much here, but I thought maybe a few of you would appreciate an update on Ricardo. IMO, he was always one of the more underrated Mizzou players and I really enjoyed watching him play during my time at Mizzou.
I'm living in Seoul right now, where he is playing for Seoul Samsung Thunder and he is dominating the Korean Basketball League (KBL). He is currently second in the KBL for points at 24.9 ppg (behind Texas Tech legend Andre Emmett) and leads the league with 13.2 rebounds. I've been able to go to a few games and he really is one of the best players out there (not saying much, the KBL is...to be nice...very weak). Regardless, he is earning a nice paycheck to dominate in basketball and he seems to enjoy his time here. He is a mini celebrity here and has a passionate following.
He also recently became a South Korean citizen and will be playing for the South Korean national team. I'm not sure if this is completely official yet as there were some hoops to jump through, but still a great opportunity for him.
