This kid deserves his own thread. Kudos to this kid for buying in and not getting frustrated with the lack of playing time. And lets not forget that he had older and stronger horses in front of him. But it looks like instead of sulking or transferring he busted his ass in the weight room and grew into a damn fine defensive tackle. He looks like an oxe.
Pinkel always talks about our players need to keep working and get better. We all wanted the program to find a DT from the outside that could help us like Houston or Mao. In reality, the answer to our prayers has been on the roster the whole time. This is a kid who bought in BIG TIME. He dominated Spring Ball. He was the best DT in camp this summer. Who knows where we are without this kid's improvement and presence?
