Three years ago, Missouri knew the potential of Keenan Harris. The Tigers offered the then freshman during the 2022 season, and ever since, the program has recruited Harris at a priority rate, scheduling an official visit for this summer.

But with more classes taking focus behind Harris, there's a new unoffered St. Louis (Mo.) University High linebacker on Missouri's radar: Anthony Busby Jr.

Busby visited with Harris for Junior Day in January. He returned by himself Wednesday and felt interest picking up from linebacker coach Derek Nicholson and defensive line coach Al Davis.

"I have leaned on Keenan a lot in my first recruiting actions this year," Busby said. "He's a great role model and big brother to me that I ask lots of questions to in situations where I need help at. He's always there to answer with him being one of the top recruits in the nation, which is something my future self wants."

Visiting with Harris in January, Busby got to meet head coach Eli Drinkwitz for the first time in his office. He toured the campus, saw the player apartments and established early connections with multiple staffers.

Getting back to campus this week, Busby loved the practice intensity from Nicholson, seeing defenders speed through drills with an energy a lot of recruits have continued to rave about this month.

Busby also caught up with fellow St. Louis products CJ Bass, Marvin Burks Jr. and Jamal Roberts.

"It was all love for sure talking to Marvin and CJ who are defensive guys and who I have known since I was in pop warner," Busby said. "They talked to me about what I need to stay on top of during this time in my career and what all Mizzou has going good in their program right now."
