Colorful, bombastic, UT uber-fan, Roy Adams, has passed away.
Adams had many run-ins with the NCAA, and UT's hated opponent Alabama, since Adams lead the NCAA by it's nose into the mess of the Albert Means recruitment.
Adams was right in that mess as well, but he gave the NCAA direction in an investigation which lead to individual indictments as well as heavy sanctions of Alabama's football program
