He is officially under .500 as of today. His contract says that his buyout goes from 75% of the contract to 50% if he is under .500 at the time of his firing (no idea if it has to be at the end of the season, I'm not going to read the contract). That is $5M of savings (15 to 10M)
But if it doesn't have to be at the end of the season, does the AD move on before Sam can harvest a few more Ws?
