They won't get going with the actual scrimmage for about 30-45 more minutes. We will edit the OP here with updates on the action throughout. No official word on who's out for the scrimmage, though I do see five players in full red on the field. Those players are Andrew Baggett, Richaud Floyd, Thomas Richard, Ian Simon and Andy Bauer (we think, I will update if we are later proven wrong)

Official word on Baggett is back spasms

Based on watching the pre-scrimmage extra point attempts, I will simply say that this team is gonna need Andrew Baggett to be healthy. Either that or come up with a lot of very effective two-point conversion plays.

Corbin Berkstresser lining up as part of the No. 1 kick return team. Anthony Sherrills was the return man.

No. 2 KOR man looks to be John Gibson (again, this is early and all subject to change)

Emanuel Hall also working on kick returns

Contenders for punt return appear to be Aarion Penton, Jonathon Johnson, Cam Hilton and Thomas Wilson (not in that order IIRC)

Now starting the actual scrimmage portion. As always, they start with the offense on its own two-yard line

Looks like it's Brad McNulty rather than Taylor Chappell getting the first No. 1 reps at left guard.

We have our first "Maty Mauk spins right away from no pressure" moment of fall camp. But he did deliver a beautiful ball to a wide open DeSean Blair...who couldn't hang on to it.

No. 2 offense out there. Tyler Hunt breaks a tackle (didn't see who) and runs for 31 yards against the No. 1 D.

After the No. 3 D stops the No. 3 O three and out, we're ready for the live scrimmage. No. 1 offense vs No. 2 defense from the 25 yard line.

Clarence Green destroys Nate Brown on a bubble screen for a loss of four. Next play is Brown again, who sheds a tackle and gains 27.

McNulty started this series, but Chappell in now.

Wing getting some reps with the ones. He was open, Mauk threw over his head.

No.1 O drives to the opposing 37 but stalls out there and will punt.

Mauk 3-6/25 yards on that drive. Hansbrough 2 carries, 14 yards.

Looked like Jason Reese was at TE on that drive.

No. 2 defense on the next drive. Terry Beckner and Marcell Frazier among those on the field. Slip screen to DeSean Blair was tipped but completed. Now we start over with the 3O v 3D

Offense goes three and out, two incompletions and no gain on a run for Steward

No. 4 offense out there now with Berkstresser at QB. First carry for Chase Abington loses a yard. Next play is an eight yard completion to Emanuel Hall

Malik Cuellar at LT with the 2 offense, jumps early for a five yard penalty on fourth and 1.

Underscoring depth issues at DT, Tyler Hanneke on the field with the No. 1 defense. Walter Brady and Charles Harris the Des, Augusta now in at DT as the offense picks up a first down on third and 1 with Ish Witter.

Wingo's first catch from Printz picks up eight yards, stopped by Clarence Green who has probably been the most active defensive player thus far.

Drew Lock about to take his first snap at QB. Marquise Doherty at RB. Johnson, Hall, Jake Brents and Kendall Blanton are his receivers.

First play is a nice throw to Johnathon Johnson for 15 yards. Second play a 13 yard completion to Emanuel Hall plus a 15 yard penalty on the defense

Ryan Williams picks up one on his first carry.

Lock scrambles and drops the ball. Recovered himself, but now fourth and six. Lock had the conversion but Jonathan Johnson couldn't hang on to a pass beyond the marker. Not the easiest catch, but he'd probably say he should have made it.

Lock is 2-3 for 28 yards, 2 runs for 2 yards on that drive.

No. 1 offense back on the field. Mauk to Nate Brown for 26 yards. Brown has three catches for 49 yards early.

Nice PBU on a pass intended for Culkin. Penton was inches from a pick six.

At least the third false start on the offensive line thus far.

Now a hold on McGovern trying to keep Spencer Williams off Mauk. First team O facing third and 23

Nice catch by Leftwich...unfortunately he was about four yards out of bounds. Mauk had to throw early as Nate Crawford was beaten badly by Justin Grava.

When Mizzou goes nickel, it looks like Scherer and Brothers with the 1s, Newsom and Green with the 2s. Beckner getting quite a bit of time with the two defense.

We have a touchdown. Marvin Zanders throws a screen to freshman WR Justin Smith, who catches the ball at the line of scrimmage, slips a tackle and busts it 60 yards down the sideline for a touchdown.

Drew Lock up again now.

Up to four false starts and a hold on the offensive line so far.

Nice play by Scherer breaking up a pass from Printz intended for Dilosa. Excellent break on the ball. 2O now in 3rd and 15 vs 1D

Charles Harris just shoved Malik Cuellar about seven yards straight back into Eddie Printz, who recovers to hit J'Mon Moore for 65 yards down to the 5.

Kentrell Brothers comes up with a sack on third and 12.

Eddie Printz getting a series with the 1O vs 2D. Linebackers are Newsom, Lee, Burkett. Not positive if someone is replacing Newsom with the 1D, but he has been spending a lot of time on the field with the 2s. I'll pay closer attention when the 1D gets back out there.

Clay Rhoads at RT with the 1O now.

Justin Smith with another catch, this one for 11 and a first down.

Marcell Frazier throws Ryan Williams for a six yard loss on a sweep. Chased it down from the backside.

Zanders getting a series with the 2s here.

Drew Lock now with the 2 offense vs the 1 defense. Will be interesting to see how he does. That series goes three and out.

Doherty with a really nice 22 yard carry, broke a couple of tackles.

Touchdown. Lock to Doherty on a swing pass for 13 yards. Looked like 4 offense vs 4 defense

Another touchdown. Mauk to Leftwich for 35 yards vs the 1 defense

Stealing stats from David Morrison, Mauk is unofficially 9-16 for 115 yards and a TD. No turnovers by the offense today at all.

Lock to Emanuel Hall who sheds a tackle and rolls to the ten. Been very impressed with the freshman QB today.

Touchdown Marvin Zanders eludes pressure from Nate Howard, throws across his body 24 yards to Ray Wingo.

Touchdown Drew Lock to Jason Reese for 11 yards. Three Mizzou QBs have five touchdown passes (Zanders 2, Lock 2, Mauk 1)

Two-minute drill about to begin, which means we're in the last period. Offense starts on the 30, 1:40 on the clock

1O vs 2D:

Hansbrough for 7, pass complete to Hansbrough for 2, wide open drop by Ish Witter on 3rd and 1, Spencer Williams throws Witter for a 1 yard loss on 4th and 1.

3O vs 3D:

Zanders to Johnathon Johnson for a HUGE gain, breaking three tackles and rolls to the six yard line. Abbington picks up four. Second and goal at the 2. Ryan Williams for the touchdown.

2O vs 1D:

Printz incomplete for J'Mon Moore. Printz to Reese for 4. Printz to Dilosa for 15 and a first down.

False start on McNulty.

Charles Harris with pressure, Printz escapes and runs for 14. 2nd and 1. Pressure by Augusta forces an incompletion. Backward pass incomplete for Culkin goes as a fumble and the first offensive turnover of the day, Thomas Wilson returns it all the way to the 12 yard line, tackled by Printz.

1O vs 2D

Beckner and Cam Hilton getting snaps with the 2s.

Mauk scrambles OOB for 1, chased out by Beckner. Tyrell Jacobs and Marcell Frazier out there too. Mauk sacked by Frazier. Third and 16. Incomplete, under thrown for Nate Brown. Fourth and 16. Incomplete for Nate Brown, Hilton gets there right as the ball does to knock it loose.

3O vs 3D

Lock run for three, Lock pass to Wingo for 9 and a first down. Lock incomplete for Wingo. Lock scramble for 11 and a first down, thought Nate Howard thought he had a sack.

We're done. Defense wins 19-7. Plenty of coverage to come.
