Do with it what you want but kind of jives with Gabe pumping the brakes on the Odom is gone train. Was told Sterk made the non-offer offer of the job to someone. Basically if I offered you the job would you take it type deal. He was shot down.
This person was beyond confident that today was Odom’s last game as of Tuesday night. He said now 60/40 he is back. There may be one or two more of these discussions to happen but the person who was thought to be obtainable and clearly an upgrade did not work out. I asked who it was and was chuckled at. The guy who told me this is not a decision maker but someone who is privy to information. I have a professional relationship with him. Believe or don’t doesn't really matter to me. Just thought I would pass it along.
