While being very happy with the progression of our Offense & even our Run Defense, our Pass Defense is attrocious.
I have only rewatched the first half of the UCONN game but against a competent SEC Offense this game would have been much different.
Mis-tackles, poor angles, to blown coverages with wide open WR's, there has been virtually no progression here.
No doubt the lack of edge pressure as well as dynamic LB's hurt, but this Secondary is easily the worst in the past 8 years & they've tried just about everone.
How bad must our CB's be for a RS-SR Cheadle to be starting?
Not sure if it is nature (talent) or nurture (coaching), but this group is awful.
And that's not seeing a decent TE who always filet our Defense.
The good news is that our final opponents don't have a combination of good QB & good WR play.
