At the end of Warren Powers career. Recruiting went in the toilet and then came Woody and his wagon. I hate to believe this, but I simply don't see much talent or even speed. It's not all Barry's fault but I don't think he's good enough to survive bad seasons, with recruiting already mediocre at best.
Also don't see Sterk firing him after two seasons unless the team just quits. Either way I'm afraid of a walk through the wilderness for Mizzou football. It makes me sick to think about it this way, but the team is just poor.
Another weakness is our fan base doesn't have the balls or desire to pony up and play with the big boys. It just is what it is. Hell, KC and The Lou hate each other in our own freaking state! How can we expect our flagship university to sit in the middle of the two and thrive?
