I have never been one that advocates firing coaches or blaming players. I've stood by them all over the years... Yost, GP, Steck, Alden Mike Anderson, even Haith. I generally believe the professionals know more than those of us on PM...
But the point I keep coming back to with KA is self respect. The University of Missouri should never, ever lose to NC Central in basketball. We are too proud of a program to allow that. Yet alone to NC Central and EIU at home in the same season. It's like some bizarro world that we're even discussing these events.
We have to fire KA as soon as possible to let our players, our fans, and college basketball know that we do not accept this.
We demand better. We hold ourselves to a higher standard. We have more respect for our program than to allow this to continue.
I wanted Kim to work out. I am sure these results pain him more than anyone. I don't doubt he loves Mizzou and wants to succeed. But he has failed and this cannot continue any longer.
