Last week at this time you people were talking about how Cuonzo was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Two losses later and y'all turning on him faster than y'all did on Odom. I don't know what you people expect, but damn have some patience. His way under the radar recruits are going to start to pan out eventually. So I guess he took all y'all girlfriends back in the day since y'all coming at him way harder than I did. Bottom line is, there's just not enough talent on this team.
Well since everybody's blasting Cuonzo, I guess this is the perfect time to voice my issues without being labeled a Cuonzo hater. Too many flawed players on one team. There's not one player on this team who can defend, dribble and shoot at least average. This is a low ceiling, medium level floor team. Coach got these boys playing 1990's Big Ten basketball. There's no pace to their game and everything is so deliberate. These new age kids wanna get up and down the floor a little bit and that ain't happening with Cuonzo. There's no dribble drive action on the offensive end. It's dribble the ball for 25 seconds then wish in a hope and a prayer. I know @mizzoucobra throws out all these analytics about the defense, but this isn't a great defensive team. Other than that, the team is alright.
