I was at the game on the Rockhurst side of the field, in the middle of the 2nd quarter, CBC completed a 30 yard pass to the RH 20 yd line...a flag was thrown on the play for pass interference...instead of giving CBC the option of the catch for 30 yards or taking the penalty, the ref marked a fifteen yard penalty for PI from the point where he made the catch putting the ball on the 5 yard line...I saw / heard Coach Severino jumping up and down telling at the ref "they get the play or the penalty, not both" several times but the ref would have none of it....the explanation that was given was "the pass interference occurred after the catch was made"![[roll]](http://l.yimg.com/j/assets/img/emoticons/classic/roll.r191677.gif "roll [roll]")
the coaching staff was told at half by the ref crew was that they made a mistake.
Secondly, and someone who was on the CBC side could address but i was told after the game during the CBC celebration there was an incident with the Gabbert family and the police because they wouldn't let Blaine come down on the field with Brett and the team...from what i heard, Brett and Blaine both were cussing at the Event Staff and police for this and saying FCK Mizzou I wish I had never come here, blah, blah and the CBC fans joined in.
Again, I did not personally see what happened, just relaying what i was told by a couple of event staff people I know were on that side of the field.
