A source told me this morning, “Luther Burden will be a Tiger.” When I asked why they said OU now only wants to take two WR’s. They already have three committed and are about to take a 4th. He feels lied to and that he wasn’t the “priority priority” like they originally said.
Luther is the highest ranked so does it make all that much sense OU wouldn’t make him the priority? No, not really. But the kid isn’t thrilled with the Sooners right now.
Combine all that with being tight with Isaac Thompson and the STL commits, Drink’s success overall, and here we are. It’s going to take a bit but source is confident it will happen.
