Aight! So i am in Houston for my travel ball teams organization meetings. Well on the way over Friday myself and the other coach of our team stopped in Lafayette for a visit. We went to lunch with Coach Glasco Well in conversation I got the chance i wanted and I asked “what do you think about going back to the home area (he is orig from Illinois) to take a SEC team?” He said “I would never say never.” He also said had the job been offered a year ago he most definitely would have. He also said he has been asked about it. He is under contract to ULL so he cant talk unless AD gives permission( Mizzou connection). He is happy in Lafayette but would listen. He also said the new head coach will be announced at the end of the season as in within hours unless the coach is in the world series. He said the HC will be known before the end.... He said we have a good AD and he is working as we speak....that is the first thing
Then today I am at UH game. I was talking to the head of our organization. She said they have asked about Coach Vesely at Houston. She feels that Mizzou will hire a woman and knows that Ricketts and Van Brinkle will probably throw their hat in the ring.
