The first softball RPI rankings were released today & we are #10.
Interesting week for us as we play #128 Illinois in a DH on Wed in St Charles & a three game series with #4 Auburn in CoMO this weekend. If we don't beat IL in both games on Wed our RPI will take a serious hit. Even sweeping will likely cost us a few spots. But we have a great opportunity this weekend to move up with a crooked # of wins vs. AU.
But unless that pitching we saw over the weekend was a one time aberration, we will be embarrassed & surely swept by the incredible offensive machine that AU has.
