I watched the game again on Saturday night to get a second look. I made a couple of vines of things on defense that stood out to me. First off, I didn't make any of Kentrell Brothers because there would be way too many. He was all over the field. If he keeps it up like this all year he has 1st team All-SEC LB in the bag. The second thing that stood out to me was how great Nate Howard's first step is at the snap. Nate looks like a taller version of Marcus Golden. Third, Terry Beckner showed why Michael Scherer called him a ghost. In the vines below one shows Beckner getting past the OG & hitting the fullback on a triple option. The OG didn't even see Beckner go by him. Walter Brady didn't exactly make a lot of plays but he always seemed to be putting pressure on the QB. Anyways, I liked what I saw from the young DL.
